Wendy Wilson with The Charmed Nook

Last Updated 4/14/2025Posted in Downtown Spotlight

This week the spotlight is on Wendy Wilson with The Charmed Nook! 🤔

What inspires you?
Wendy finds inspiration in the passion of the people who bring their craft to life in her store. Seeing artisans and makers pour their hearts into their work keeps her motivated every day—plus, who doesn’t love being surrounded by cool, creative stuff? 🛍️

What is an interesting fact about your business that most people don’t know?
Many of Wendy’s vendors create handcrafted items and even take custom orders! So if you ever thought, "I wish I had a candle that smells like fresh-baked cookies and eternal happiness," this is the place to ask. The Charmed Nook is home to an eclectic mix of treasures—candles, wooden signs, freeze-dried candy, books, and even a variety of meats! (Because why not? 🥩📚🍬)

📺What is the inspiration behind the name of your business?
Wendy and her daughter used to bond over the Charmed TV series after school, and when it came time to name her store, she knew she had to honor that tradition. As for “Nook”? Well, it just fit—kind of like the perfect cozy corner full of magical finds. 🧙‍♀️✨

🎶 What is your go-to music genre or favorite artist?
Wendy rocks out to Christian music but will also pour some sugar on a Def Leppard jam session. A little faith, a little rock ‘n’ roll—balance is everything. 🙌🎸

Stop by The Charmed Nook to explore Wendy’s magical mix of goodies and support local artisans! You never know what unique find is waiting for you. 😉
