This week the spotlight is on Chuck Erke! Chuck is our 2024 Board Vice President and chairman of our Organization Committee! Chuck is a Main Street superstar!

What inspires you?

"Projects, planning, and completing. But mostly... the planning!" Chuck laughs. Let’s just say logistics is his superpower. He’s been a huge help behind the scenes with so many Main Street projects, and honestly, where would we be without him?

What’s one thing that makes your day better?

No hesitation here: Variety! Chuck’s all about keeping life fresh. Every day, he hops on his bike for a ride around town, but the key? He always switches up his route. Who knew biking could be so adventurous?

What’s your favorite Main Street event?

Chuck loves all the Main Street events, but if he had to pick? It’s got to be the Drop of Dublin! Wine Walk might be a fan favorite, but Chuck’s got a soft spot for some Irish vibes. Who else thinks we need to bring that back?

What keeps you excited and motivated?

This one’s easy: Gadgets! Chuck is a total tech nerd. He’s that guy who can’t resist taking apart the latest gadget to see how it works. His wife... well, she’s not quite as thrilled about this hobby.
