A.C.T.S with Lifepoint Church and Main Street Chillicothe

Our beautiful downtown continues to thrive as a clean and welcoming spot for all community members and visitors. This success is largely thanks to the dedicated efforts of community members and volunteers. We were especially fortunate to receive volunteer support from Lifepoint’s A.C.T.S. group for various projects in the district during June. These projects included several alley cleanups, maintenance and trimming in Silver Moon Plaza, and new mulch around trees on Locust in the Kelly Poling Art District. Such partnerships foster community pride and unity.

Advancing Community Through Service, or A.C.T.S., is a community group led by Paul Ficken of Lifepoint Church. This group consists of volunteers of all ages who aim to enhance the community through various services. Meeting every Wednesday in June, they volunteer for downtown cleanup, yard work, nursing home assistance, and more.
