✨Downtown Spotlight✨
This week the spotlight is on Brian (J.B) Togun with Abba House!

👋 Meet J.B.! You’ll find him at Abba House, where he’s not just working—he’s walking the path he once took himself. Having gone through the program before stepping into his role, J.B. has a unique way of connecting with those just starting their journey. He’s been there, he gets it, and he’s all about paying it forward.

🎵 What inspires you?
Music and fresh ideas! J.B. mostly bumps Christian hip hop, and when he’s not listening to it, he’s making his own music and beats. If you hear a fire track, it might just be him. 🔥🎶

🤔 Interesting fact?
J.B. isn’t just a staff member—he’s a graduate of the Abba House program! Having completed it himself, he understands the “why” behind what the newcomers are going through. He’s proof that transformation is real.

💻 Something you can’t live without at work?
No hesitation on this one: ChatGPT. And honestly? We get it. She’s a real one.

✨ What is one thing that makes your day instantly better?
Seeing his wife and daughter smile. How wholesome is that? 🥰

🕺 Unusual talent or interest?
J.B. likes to think of himself as a good dancer. At least, that’s what people say… their words, not his. But hey, we believe it.

Next time you’re downtown, give J.B. a shout! Whether he’s mentoring at Abba House, dropping a beat, or (allegedly) breaking out some dance moves, he’s bringing positive vibes wherever he goes.
