2025 Façade Grant Applications Are Open!

Main Street Chillicothe is thrilled to announce the opening of applications for the 2025 Facade Grant Program, a cornerstone initiative designed to breathe new life into the heart of our downtown district. This celebrated program offers matching grants of up to $5,000, empowering downtown property and business owners to transform their building exteriors and contribute to the vibrant charm that makes Chillicothe unique.

The Facade Grant Program supports a variety of improvements, including new signage, eye-catching awnings, fresh paint, masonry repairs, and the restoration of treasured historic features. Each project funded through this program represents a step forward in creating an inviting, dynamic downtown that attracts visitors and enriches the community. Whether you’re envisioning a small touch-up or a major facelift, now is the time to bring your vision to life.

Applications must be requested by email or in person at the Main Street Chillicothe office, located at 514 Washington Street. Completed applications are due by March 3, 2025. Interested applicants are encouraged to act quickly to ensure they meet the deadline. All applications will be reviewed competitively, with funding awarded to projects that align with the goals of revitalization and historic preservation.

In addition to the annual exterior facade grant, Main Street Chillicothe also offers an Upper-Story Development Grant, providing up to $2,500 infunds to help property owners transform unused upper-story spaces into thriving residential or commercial areas.
