Downtown Spotlight

If you’ve ever stopped by Shooters Taproom and Kitchen, you’ve likely met Lea—half of the dynamic duo behind this downtown favorite. Lea and her husband were recently featured in Rural Missouri 📰, and we’re proud to shine a local spotlight on her today!

Do you collect anything?
Lea is a vintage Pyrex enthusiast, and her collection is seriously impressive—she’s up to 70 pieces and counting! 🍲✨ From bold patterns to classic colors, she loves the charm and nostalgia each dish brings.

What do you like to do for fun?
Lea and her husband are spontaneous travelers—the “pack a bag and go” kind. 🧳✈️ They often don’t book a hotel until they arrive, letting the adventure unfold as it will. Wherever, whenever—that's their style, and we absolutely love that for them. 💕

Fun fact about Shooters?
Big changes are on the horizon! Shooters Taproom and Kitchen is moving to a new home at 425 Cherry Street—the former Bailey Studios location 🏡. Even better? They’ll be keeping mementos from Bailey Studios in the new space as a nod to its creative legacy 🎨. We can’t wait to see how they blend old charm with their fresh energy!

What’s your most used emoji?
The face palm emoji 🤦‍♀️—because, as Lea puts it, she forgets a lot. (Relatable? Extremely. We do too. 😅)

Be sure o follow Shooters Taproom and Kitchen for updates on the move—and maybe ask Lea which Pyrex piece is her favorite while you’re there. 🥂
