37th Annual Chillicothe Cruise Night
Chillicothe, MO – Classic cars, chrome finishes, and a wave of nostalgia will take over downtown Chillicothe as the Chillicothe Lions Club presents its annual Cruise Night on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. The event invites the community to enjoy an evening of cruising, music, and family-friendly fun!
Cruise Night is a long-standing tradition in Chillicothe, now in its 37th year. Each summer, hundreds of vintage and custom vehicles gather downtown, drawing spectators to take in the sights and sounds of the open road. Last year’s event saw over 340 cars participate, with even more expected to fill the streets this year.
The evening will officially kick off at 7:30 p.m., when cruisers begin their loop around the downtown Square before heading out on the route that passes several local nursing homes—bringing smiles to residents along the way. Washington Street (from Third Street to Highway 190), along with Park Lane, Fairway, Country Club, Webster, Jackson, and Locust, will be temporarily closed from 7:00 to 10:30 p.m., with the cruise route escorted by local law enforcement.
There is no cost to participate or attend, and no registration is required. Whether you’re driving a hot rod, restoring a classic, or simply love seeing them in action, everyone is invited to take part.
In addition to the cruise, attendees can enjoy music from the 1950s and 60s, broadcast live on KCHI Radio, adding to the nostalgic atmosphere.
The Chillicothe Lions Club hosts the event each year as part of its ongoing mission to support local causes through service and fundraising. Cruise Night not only brings the community together but also helps fund important projects and outreach programs throughout the area.
