Community Options is a local, not-for-profit organization—founded in 1991 by residents of Chillicothe—dedicated to providing residential and employment services to people with disabilities. Since its inception, it has grown into a trusted resource helping individuals live, work, and engage actively in their community.

Would you survive a zombie apocalypse?

Absolutely. Zero doubt. Courtney’s never missed a clay pigeon in her life, so zombies… consider yourselves warned.

Do you collect anything?

Old books! One of her oldest is a pocket-sized copy of Othello from the early 1800s—basically the “vintage vinyl” of literature.

What is something you can’t live without at work?

A tea from Downtown Nutrition! It’s a necessity for her… and for the safety of everyone around her.

What inspires you?

People doing their best and overcoming adversity. Bonus points if Courtney gets to help them along the way.

What’s something about your business most people don’t know?
