Then and Now #3 - City Hall
๐The current Chillicothe City Hall๐๏ธ, constructed in 1927, and located at 715 Washington Street, is the third city hall to sit on this same site. The first city hall constructed in 1869 burned down in 1876 and the second, constructed in 1877 burned down in 1925๐งฏ. Since 1927 it has served as the city hall for Chillicothe. At times, the building also hosting other local organizations such as the Darlene Rose Theatre ๐ญ which briefly ran out of the building's auditorium in the 1930s and the fire department. On the north side of the building the outline of garage doors for the firetrucks are still visible.
