37th Annual Chillicothe Cruise Night
Downtown Chillicothe came alive once again with the rumble of engines and a wave of nostalgia on Friday, July 18, as the Chillicothe Lions Club hosted the 37th Annual Chillicothe Cruise Night in the heart of the downtown square.
The beloved tradition drew car enthusiasts and spectators filling the streets with 330 classic cars, hot rods, and custom rides—each one meticulously restored and proudly showcased. From vintage beauties to muscle cars and one-of-a-kind builds, every vehicle had a story, and their owners were eager to share them.
The cruise started off with cruisers beginning their loop around the downtown Square before heading out on the route that passed several local nursing homes—bringing smiles to residents along the way.
Ed Englert kept the atmosphere lively with classic tunes, while attendees enjoyed tasty treats from Cooksey’s Kettle Corn, Downhome Concessions, MyTy’s Snow Cones, and water provided by the Salvation Army.
The Cruise Night is the perfect kickoff to the Car Show held in Simpson Park on Saturday, July 19th. Where attendees can enjoy games, food vendors, door prizes, and award presentations in the afternoon.
