✨Downtown Spotlight✨

This week the spotlight is on Kim Marshall with KM Designs!

What inspires Kim? Kim finds inspiration in nature 🌿.
She loves incorporating honest, organic finishes into her designs—think natural stone, warm wood tones, and living finishes on faucets and hardware that gracefully age over time. What keeps her excited and motivated? No two projects are ever the same, and that’s exactly what keeps Kim on her toes! From historic homes and barndominiums to custom new builds with everything from traditional charm to modern flair—she thrives on variety and is always learning new tricks of the trade 🛠️.

What can’t she live without at work?
Two essentials: 📱 Her phone—for the constant communication required in her day-to-day. 📏 And her trusty tape measure—used for everything from laying out electrical plans to selecting countertop slabs, cabinet installs, and hanging artwork.

What does Kim do for fun?
In her downtime, Kim enjoys reading, traveling, long walks, and diving deep into all things architecture and décor 🏛️. She’s also a self-proclaimed shopping pro—“really good at it,” she says with a smile!

What’s her personal motto?
While she doesn’t have a specific motto, Kim often says she treats every project as if it were her own—essentially living by the Golden Rule ✨.

What is she most proud of as a business owner?
Kim is proud to have transformed her passion into a thriving business. She's excited to offer a service to Chillicothe and the surrounding area that many didn’t even know they needed. Stay tuned for her brand-new location on Elm Street, where she’ll showcase custom cabinets, countertops, and other commercial and residential design elements 🏠.
